Individually decorated and furnished rooms

All of our rooms are single en-suite rooms, some of which have patio doors out onto the garden. All rooms are furnished with your comfort and accessibility in mind and we encourage you to personalise it as you like. Hanging familiar pictures or bringing pieces of furniture can make your room feel like a real home from home.

Making dining special

We love our food at Buchanan House – we believe that if you eat well, you live well too. Each day, our chef prepares fresh meals, combining variety with a balanced diet. We always ask for suggestions from residents which helps us plan our menu.

If you or your loved one has any special dietary requirements, we are happy to oblige and cater to all of your needs and wishes. We also love a birthday party or special occasion; we encourage residents to make the most of living in an active environment.

Varied activities programme

We provide a variety of activities, tailoring these to meet each resident’s needs in the most efficient way. We encourage residents to socialise and enjoy each other’s company whilst also understanding that they may need some quiet or alone time. We have quiet lounges where residents can read books or magazines.
